Process and Goals
Becoming a Linx Client
At Linx, every relationship begins with understanding — not just who you are, but what truly moves you.
The first step in our process is simple: you’ll provide us with your basic biographical information through the Linx intake. Once our team has reviewed it, we’ll follow up with a tailored set of questions designed to help us get to know you more deeply — including thoughtful prompts about your ideal match and the kind of partner you’re seeking — and to determine whether Linx is the right fit for your goals.
If there’s a strong alignment, we’ll invite you to schedule a private, one-on-one Meet & Greet with Amy Andersen. This meeting gives you the opportunity to connect with Amy personally, learn more about the Linx approach, and share your story and aspirations for your next serious relationship.
In advance of your meeting, Amy will provide you with a comprehensive overview document that introduces the Linx background and outlines our matchmaking philosophy and methodology. This ensures you’re familiar with the inner workings of Linx before you sit down with Amy — allowing your time together to focus fully on you.
The Initial Consultation
We like to be transparent: there is a fee for this initial meeting. The session typically lasts up to two hours, during which you’ll have Amy’s undivided attention. This fee simply covers her professional time and ensures she can focus solely on you.
During your consultation, we’ll dive into a wide range of topics — from your relationship history and what brings you to Linx, to your goals and the multi-faceted qualities you seek in a partner. This includes everything from religion, ethnicity, and lifestyle preferences to values, life vision, and even subtler traits such as energy, humor, and outlook.
Some of our questions may feel lighthearted, some quite personal, and others even surprising — but each one serves a purpose. These insights allow us to create a portrait of you and your ideal partner that is both emotional and analytical — the foundation of every successful Linx match.
We’ll also discuss the membership options that might best fit your needs, timeline, and preferences.
Taking Time to Reflect
After this meeting, we’ll ask you to take a few days to reflect. Consider every aspect of our discussion:
Does this feel like the right time for you?
Do you feel a connection with the Linx philosophy and team? Like any relationship, having good chemistry with your matchmaker is actually really important.
Are there any qualities or priorities you’d like to refine?
We want you to feel confident and inspired before taking the next step. Just as importantly, we want you to trust Amy— that she has your best interests at heart and will always stand by your side, be on your team, and in your corner throughout this process. If your intuition tells you otherwise, we encourage you to listen to it.
Moving Forward Together
Once we mutually agree that it makes sense to move forward, we’ll schedule a follow-up meeting — either via Zoom or in person — to answer any remaining questions and, in most cases, to present a comprehensive proposal outlining how Linx can best serve your goals.
If you’re ready to invest in your future and move forward with Linx, we’ll begin the process of becoming a client. You’ll receive a contract via DocuSign, along with onboarding materials and your new client kick-off call with the Linx team.
From there, our team begins its confidential, curated search — allowing you to move forward in your life while we focus on finding your match.
Our Purpose
For some, marriage is the next step. For others, it’s about rediscovering confidence, clarity, and connection after years of focusing on career or family.
At its heart, Linx is about movement — helping you break dating inertia and move toward the serious, lasting relationship you deserve.
If you’re single and ready for change, you might recognize yourself in one of these:
You’ve never truly prioritized a relationship before.
You keep attracting the wrong type — and you know it.
You’re successful, but your career leaves little room for romance.
You’re viewed as the “friend,” not the romantic partner.
You’re navigating dating while transitioning out of a long marriage — a chapter you never expected, one that can feel both liberating and overwhelming.
You want to trust again after betrayal or heartbreak.
You want to learn how to love again after the loss of a spouse.
You’ve dated a fair amount but haven’t met the right person, feel your clock ticking, and want to meet your future partner to build a family with. You’re burned out from dating apps and know there must be a more intentional, authentic way to connect with like-minded people.
Why Linx Works
One of the greatest advantages of working with a matchmaker is our ability to help you avoid old patterns and steer clear of the land mines that may have derailed past relationships. We pair you with individuals who understand — or even share — your experiences and temperament, creating compatibility rooted in empathy and mutual respect.
Whether you’re seeking someone confident yet grounded, independent yet emotionally available, or someone who simply “gets it,” Linx helps you find the right fit when the timing is right for you.
After more than two decades as The Cupid of Silicon Valley™, Amy Andersen remains devoted to helping discerning professionals find extraordinary love — and, in the process, rediscover themselves.
