LINX CONFIDENTIAL

Newsletter #19

Dear Subscriber First Name,

May has a different kind of energy. It feels less like a reset and more like a return to what actually matters. I’ve found myself thinking about how easy it is to get pulled into momentum, into doing more, seeing more, meeting more, without always asking whether it’s moving you closer to the kind of relationship you actually want.

In my work, I see this often. People come in with full lives, full schedules, and a genuine desire for partnership, but they are still operating from a mindset of accumulation rather than alignment. More dates, more conversations, more options. And yet, the shift rarely comes from adding more. It comes from getting clearer. Clear on what feels right. Clear on what feels steady. Clear on what you are no longer willing to overlook.

The clients who find the most meaningful relationships are not the ones chasing intensity. They are the ones who recognize consistency. They pay attention to how someone shows up over time, how they communicate, how they handle the small moments that reveal who they are. There is a quiet confidence in choosing someone who feels grounding rather than uncertain.

I’ve also been reflecting on the role of patience. Not passive waiting, but active trust. Trusting your own timing, your own standards, and your ability to walk away from something that does not align, even when it looks good on paper. That kind of discernment is what ultimately creates space for something real to enter.

At Linx, these are the conversations we are continuing to have every day. How to slow down enough to truly see someone. How to stay open without compromising your values. How to build something that feels both exciting and deeply secure.

We’re also excited to share that we welcomed a new intern to the Linx team this May, Graciela! We’re so happy to have her on board and excited for all that’s ahead.

And with summer around the corner, we’re getting excited for what’s ahead. Our Summer Soirée is officially happening on August 29th, and we cannot wait to bring together an incredible group for an evening centered around connection, conversation, and intentional community. More details are coming soon, but trust us when we say this is one you’ll want to stay tuned for.

Affectionately yours,

Amy Andersen

FEATURED VIP CLIENT

At 52, this 5'11" Silicon Valley-based gentleman is fit, warm, and striking in an understated way. You might first meet him at his favorite sushi spot, laughing over omakase as the evening unfolds, the conversation stretching effortlessly into the night.

Born in Eastern Europe, he was a curious child who took gadgets apart just to see how they worked—an instinct he carried into a successful, deeply engaging career in software engineering. Now holding the freedom to shape his own days, he devotes his time to creative writing, independent software projects, and philanthropy supporting the arts and organizations dedicated to children's well-being.

He brings a compassionate curiosity to the people he meets—a genuine interest in what someone loves and what lingers on their mind. A regular at the ballet, his cultural outings rotate organically through the arts. He is drawn to work that expands his inner world: Ruth Asawa's intricate wire forms, Chiharu Shiota's immersive installations, and Stravinsky's Firebird, where passion meets exquisite precision.

Never married, with no children, he carries the depth of a thirteen-year relationship that ended on good terms, teaching him the value of navigating conflicts thoughtfully, seeking always to understand and be understood.

And Who Captivates Him?

She is between the ages of 35 and 55, of any race. What naturally catches his eye is elegance and feminine grace; what holds his heart is emotional availability, trustworthiness, intellectual curiosity, and her commitment to a healthy lifestyle. She is the kind of woman who lights up at a shared hike, a good, healthy meal, a captivating show, or a YouTube rabbit hole explored together on a quiet evening. Warm and affectionate, she approaches partnership as a truly cooperative endeavor, moved more by meaning than by status.

If you believe love is something to be tended slowly—built through genuine presence, shared rituals, and the daily intention to become loving witnesses to each other's lives—he would like very much to meet you.

RICH IN LOVE

When we talk about wealth, the conversation usually revolves around money, achievement, or status. But some of the most fulfilled people we meet don’t define being “rich” that way at all. Instead, they measure their lives by the quality of their relationships and the depth of connection they experience every day. A life rich in love is marked by emotional connection, affection, loyalty, and support. It’s the quiet confidence that comes from knowing you are seen, valued, and cared for. This kind of wealth fills the heart rather than the hands.

This richness shows up through the presence of a partner, a close friend, or a chosen family who offers comfort during difficult moments and shares in life’s joys without keeping score. These relationships create emotional steadiness, allowing people to take risks, grow, and move through the world with greater ease. This kind of abundance prioritizes connection. It favors presence over performance, companionship over comparison, and shared experience over external validation. It lives in everyday moments: meaningful conversation, shared laughter, mutual respect, and the feeling of being understood.

There is generosity woven into this form of wealth, it is not defined by what one accumulates, but by how much love one is able to give, receive, and grow over time. The ability to show up consistently, to listen deeply, and to remain emotionally available is a powerful form of abundance. A fulfilling emotional connection is built on trust, vulnerability, and emotional safety. It’s the freedom to be fully yourself without fear of judgment, to share thoughts and feelings openly, and to trust. When people feel emotionally safe, connection deepens naturally.

Over time, these bonds are strengthened through small, consistent choices: turning toward one another in moments of attention, listening with curiosity rather than defensiveness, and creating shared rituals. Together, these habits foster a sense of “we-ness,” a feeling of moving through the world as a team. We’ve seen again and again that people can have extraordinary financial success and still feel profoundly lonely. And we’ve also seen that it’s possible to live a deeply rich life without excess, when love, connection, and community are strong.

At Linx, we believe that the greatest partnerships are built by people who understand this distinction. Love isn’t something to acquire or optimize. It’s something to nurture. And when it’s cared for with intention, patience, and honesty, it becomes one of life’s most enduring forms of wealth.
