I hope you all had a truly magical holiday season and are stepping into 2026 with a renewed sense of optimism for what lies ahead. Personally, I’m entering this year with immense gratitude and excitement. I’m honored to share that I’ll soon be speaking at a very special engagement on the East Coast, something that has been a lifelong dream and a moment I feel so fortunate to experience.

The start of a new year always brings such wonderful energy, and here at Linx, we’re already celebrating love in full bloom. One of our beloved VIP clients became engaged over the holidays, which fills our entire team with so much happiness and pride. These moments remind me every day why I founded Linx- to bring people together in the most meaningful and lasting ways.

JANUARY MINDSET: FEELING GOOD, LOOKING GOOD

As we step into the new year, our focus is simple: feeling good and looking good. When we take care of ourselves, it naturally shapes the way we connect with others. Genuine connection begins from within through self care, presence, and a positive relationship with ourselves.

Cultivating mindfulness, gratitude, and self acceptance lays the foundation. Pair that with movement you enjoy, nourishing food, and quality sleep, along with small daily rituals that support your well being. These habits do not just improve how we feel. They influence how we show up in the world.

Confidence often comes from the simplest actions such as smiling, wearing clothes that reflect who you are, and approaching others with genuine curiosity. When we feel good internally, it shows externally. When we take pride in how we present ourselves, it reinforces confidence and creates an energy that naturally attracts thoughtful, aligned people.

As you move through January, stay present. Take a few moments to meditate, write down what you are grateful for, and acknowledge your strengths. Accept yourself as you are today. PRESS RESET ON YOUR DATING LIFE FOR 2026

As you look back on 2025, take a moment to reflect on the experiences that shaped your dating life. Did you try new approaches? Did certain dates feel meaningful? Or did you spend more time than you wanted scrolling on apps without the results you hoped for?

In my twenty years of working in this industry, one of the most consistent themes I hear from clients is burnout related to dating apps. I am not suggesting you delete them or avoid them altogether, but it is important to take a closer look at how you are using them. Apps can subtly train our minds to believe there is always something more. More people. More options. More scrolling. This mindset can make it difficult to stay present, appreciate what is in front of us, and commit without keeping a backup plan.

If you choose to use apps, give yourself healthy limits. Set aside ten to fifteen minutes a day to browse, then log off entirely. Staying on longer usually does not lead to better matches and often just leads to more fatigue. If you like someone, suggest meeting in person instead of texting endlessly. Real connections grow through real conversation.

For those wanting to step outside the digital world, it can feel intimidating to approach people organically in today’s social climate, but it’s a skill worth rebuilding. Start small: greet your neighbors, make conversation with someone in a workout class, or exchange a few words while waiting in line for your morning latte. These small moments build confidence.

If you meet someone you find interesting or attractive, take the opportunity to have a real conversation. In places like Silicon Valley, the dating pool can feel small, so push beyond familiar routines and try a new café, explore a different part of town, or join a community event. Staying curious and open keeps things fresh.
